Station 296 was dispatched at 1825 Hours for a MVC with Entrapment and the Vehicle on Fire. 296 Engine Responded with 4 Personnel. Upon Arrival 296 Captain established Command and advised dispatch and all incoming units that there is no fire visible. 296 Crews began by stabilizing the vehicle then began to work on extrication. While Extricating 295 Rescue and 295 Squad arrived on scene and were instructed to help 296 Engine crews with extrication. 1st Patient was extricated at 1840 and the 2nd Patient was extricated at 1852. Both Patients were transported to hospital by 510 EMS. Vehicles were removed from the roadway and all hazards were cleaned up and disposed of safely. Command notified dispatch and returned all units at 1931. Command Terminated.

Around 1544, All 296 and 295 Crews were dispatched to the area of 885N by the Port Authority bus garage to a report of a vehicle on fire. 296 Engine responded, upon arrival crews found a SUV with a fully involved engine compartment.

On March 4th, 2014 at 1819, 296 Crews were dispatched into 295's District to 6709 Lombardy. 296 Engine responded, while in route dispatch notified all unites responding that the home owners outdoor grill caught fire and had extended up the wall into the exterior porch roof.

296 Crews responded in their own district to Spring Hill Suites Hotel at 0323 for a Fire Alarm Activation. Ladder 296, Engine 296, and Squad 296 responded along with crews from Station 295 and 510. Upon Arrival crews found water flowing and flooding out the first floor of the hotel.

Station 296 was dispatched with Station 295 to Century III Kia for a Smell of Something Burning. Upon Arrival 295 Chief notified dispatch for 296 crews to stand-by while 295 crews investigated. After completing the investigation the smell was determined to be sometype of strong cleaning product.

Station 296 was dispatched with Station 295 to CoGos on Camp Hollow Road for a Smell of Gas inside the structure. Strong Smell of Natural Gas was present upon entering the structure. Engine 296 crews stood by a near by hydrant per 295 Command.
